After a five month audition, the irascible Dan Turner wore down the Sentimental Journey Orchestra
into submission to finally take him in as the principal pianist.
The Sentimental Journey Orchestra is a big band/swing era full orchestra
of 22 members that celebrates its 30th Year in 2005.

Dan Turner, Mark Cole, and Rick Smith
Dan and Mark received Life Time Achievement Awards
and an award for the Best Blues Band 2004 for the Brothel Blues Band.
Rick Smith received a Life Time Achievement Award.
