Here are photos from Daniel's last satellite launch campaign (Nimiq 2 "direct TV" for Canadian Telesat Company) taken in December 2002. Baikanour is the Russian base in Kazakhstan.

"It warmed up for "roll out to the pad" day, only
about 20 below Farenheit but still had ~ 20-30 MPH wind."

Editor's Note: BRRRRRR!!! That's true dedication to be out working in -20 degrees weather!
